Why "TraceWire."

The name

A tracer wire runs alongside buried, non-metallic conduit for exactly one reason: so it can be found again later, with a locator, without anyone having to remember or guess where it actually went. It's a small piece of hardware built entirely around a problem every outside-plant crew already knows — the ground doesn't keep your records for you.

That's the whole idea behind this software too. Plant you documented once should stay findable, years later, by someone who wasn't there the day it went in the ground.

What we actually do

TraceWire is fiber and coax outside-plant documentation, splicing, and construction quoting, built specifically for the ISPs, electric co-ops, and municipal broadband programs that the enterprise platforms weren't priced or designed for.

We didn't build this to be a demo. It's used daily to run a real, working fiber and coax network — the trace engine, the splice views, and the construction layer are proven against real plant, not a sandbox.

What we promise

Flat pricing

One plan, unlimited plant. No per-seat pricing, no location caps that punish you for growing.

Your data stays yours

Real export, always available. Nothing about this platform is designed to make leaving hard.

Built by people who run a network

Every feature here exists because a real crew needed it, not because it looked good on a roadmap.
